Autocirc at Sustainergies Academy

With sustainability at the centre

Sustainergies is an initiative that aims to connect students together with the business world during their studies. They organize case days, lectures and similar, to help students get in touch with potential employers and in best case scenario, come closer to their future dream jobs.

Sustainergies Academy is a case-based training day for students from all fields of study and is held every semester on several locations in Sweden. The purpose of the day is for students to practice their knowledge in various topics surrounding sustainability and get the chance to network with the business world before graduation.

A day of insights and inspiration

On Monday the 11th of April, Autocirc had the honor of being the headliner and one of three companies participating in the Sustainergies Academy in Gothenburg this spring. The focus during our day involved Autocirc’s main purpose; how we can create a smarter and more sustainable spare part market for the vehicle fleet?

In the beginning of the day, the students were assigned three cases linked to our business with clear problem definition that they would try to solve. During their work, Autocirc was present providing useful tips and tools to the students. Later on, the students presented their solutions and findings on each topic, and we were overwhelmed with hope and pride of some of our future sustainability consultants.

We are happy to have gotten the chance to participate at Sustainergies and talk about both our business as well as what we can offer as a potential future employer.

– The day gave us insights, inspiration and lots of new ideas! What I also take with me is the importance of being reminded to think outside the box, sometimes you can get stuck in your own field and miss out on exciting solutions and other collaborations. Don’t be surprised if you see a greenhouse or a vase made of car glass, padding for ski poles of seat filling or a profile product of the textiles in the near future, says ESG & Quality Manager Hanna Wadsten.
