Autocirc is pleased to announce the acquisition of Redningsverket AS, a leading towing and roadside assistance company based in the Oslo region. With a strong market position and trusted partnerships with major insurance companies, Redningsverket will play a central role in Autocirc’s strategy to scale operations in Norway and further strengthen its logistics and transportation capabilities. Building the leading ecosystem for maximizing the reuse of automotive components.
Redningsverket handles significant volumes of both light and heavy vehicles. Through the acquisition, vehicles managed by Redningsverket will be directed to Autocirc’s dismantling facilities, including Autocirc Vestby, Østfold Bildemontering, and Grønvolds Bildemontering. This integration creates immediate synergies in parts recovery, recycling, and reuse—further strengthening Autocirc’s ecosystem with the vision of shaping the circular auto parts industry and giving new life to cars.
The acquisition also enhances Autocirc’s ability to deliver smarter and more efficient logistics in the Norwegian market. By combining Redningsverket’s traffic monitoring and control with Autocirc’s dismantling capacity, vehicles can be allocated faster and more effectively to facilities with available resources. This ensures quicker dismantling and faster availability of high-quality reused parts.
“Fast and reliable collection of vehicles is key in our partnership with insurance companies,” says Bjarte Kaldestad, Country Manager Autocirc Norway. “By welcoming Redningsverket to Autocirc, we strengthen our competitive advantage in Norway and take another decisive step in our growth strategy. We are very happy to welcome the entire team at Redningsverket to Autocirc”, Bjarte concludes.
“This marks an important and exciting new chapter for Redningsverket,”Morten Grønvold, CEO of Redningsverket AS comments. “As part of Autocirc, our services become fully integrated into a circular ecosystem. Together we can deliver faster, smarter, and more sustainable solutions for insurers, workshops, and car owners.” Morten Grønvold will continue as CEO of Redningsverket following the acquisition.
This is Autocirc’s sixth acquisition in the Towing & Transportation business area. Established in 2001, Redningsverket today employs 50 people and is one of Norway’s largest recovery stations, with around 35,000 assignments annually and a fleet of approx. 40 towing and transportation vehicles. The company has service agreements with both Redgo and SOS Veihjelp.
