Autocirc is also pleased to become a majority shareholder in CARECO, supporting the company as it develops its network of professional dismantlers in France Together, the two steps mark a new move forward for Autocirc in shaping Europe’s leading circular ecosystem for auto parts. Giving new life to cars.

Auto Pièces SAS handles around 3,000 vehicles per year and supplies a wide range of quality-assured reused parts to repair workshops and private customers across the region. In recent years, it has invested in optimizing its operations and growing its reused-parts sales, making it a solid, ready-to-scale platform. Auto Pièces has also built long-standing relationships with several regional insurance partners, reflecting its reputation for reliability and service quality. The acquisition of Auto Pièces expands the geographic reach of Autocirc’s French network, which now comprises eight recycling centres, and the site is expected to serve as a regional base for further growth in the area.

Auto Pièces is a family business founded by Philippe Richard and run together with his son, Paul Richard. Paul will continue to lead the company as CEO (Directeur Général) after closing, ensuring continuity for employees, customers and partners. Auto Pièces employs 31 people.

Autocirc and CARECO join forces
Founded in 2003 as a cooperative, CARECO is a French network of dismantling centres specialised in the production and distribution of reused automotive parts. In June 2026 the network moved from a cooperative to a new structure in which Autocirc is now a main shareholder. Today the network brings together 18 centres across France. Autocirc's shareholding broadens the stock of reused parts available and combines the complementary strengths and know-how of both networks to meet demand from insurance companies and automotive professionals.

Maxime Richaud, Country Manager Autocirc France, comments:
“We are very happy to welcome Auto Pièces and the entire team to Autocirc, and just as pleased to join forces with CARECO. Auto Pièces gives us a strong regional anchor in the west of France, while CARECO brings a nationwide network of professional dismantlers. Together they reinforce our ambition to offer insurance companies and automotive professionals the #1 ecosystem for dismantling, recycling and reused parts.”

Paul Richard will continue in his role as CEO of Auto Pièces:
“Joining Autocirc is a natural next step for us. Together with my father Philippe, we have built a business rooted in quality and trust with our customers and partners. We look forward to contributing our experience to Autocirc’s growing network, while continuing to serve our region with the same commitment.”

Pierre Largillier, the Deputy CEO of CARECO, shares his thoughts on the development with Autocirc :
"Joining forces with Autocirc gives our centres access to a European network while keeping the local roots and independence that define CARECO We are eager to build the next stage of CARECO's growth together with Autocirc"
