Autocirc strengthens circular collaboration with French insurers

23 January 2026

Over two days we have had the pleasure of welcoming our expert partners and insurance companies in France to Sweden and Norway for a deep dive into the Nordic model for sustainable vehicle dismantling. Representatives from leading French insurers and expert organisations - Macif, MAIF, Pacifica, IDEA France, Allianz, Groupe Covéa, CESVI France and Experts Groupe - joined the visit.

Together with our French Autocirc colleagues we gave an insight into our industrial approach where every vehicle is dismantled with the highest level of precision and quality - not selectively, but comprehensively. A structured and proven way of working that maximises the reuse of original parts and creates the foundation for sustainable, circular repairs.

This is a concrete and well-established model that combines reduced CO₂ emissions, economic competitiveness and operational excellence - clearly demonstrating that sustainability and profitability can go hand in hand.

The visit included a joint trip to our dismantler Autocirc Walters Bildelar. Here, up to 350 parts from an end-of-life vehicle are dismantled. The target is to dismantle more than 2,000 vehicles and remove up to 70,000 parts by 2026.

The visit continued to our central warehouse in Vestby, Norway. Here, around 1,000 new parts from our Norwegian companies are registered every week, supporting efficient distribution across markets and designed to fit 200 000 reused parts by the end of 2026.

“The collaborative model between dismantlers and insurance companies helps reduce CO₂ emissions while improving cost efficiency, supporting more sustainable businesses. It has been a successful approach in Sweden for some time already, and it is encouraging to see the growing interest from insurers in France,” says Maxime Richaud, Country Manager France at Autocirc.
